Whether you prefer to stop by our office for a traditional key checkout or utilize our modern self-guided technology, here is everything you need to know to view our available properties.
How to View Our Properties
Option 1: In-Person Key Checkout
For most of our listings, you can visit our Pacific Grove office to check out a key for a private, self-guided tour.
- Visit Us: Stop by our office during business hours. To ensure you have enough time to view the property and return, all keys must be checked out before 3:00 PM.
- Check the Listing First: Before you head over, please read the individual property description on our website. Note any specific viewing instructions, as some properties may require an appointment or have unique access steps.
- Viewing Time: You may check out a key for up to one hour. This gives you plenty of time to explore the home and get a feel for the neighborhood.
What to Bring With You:
To check out a key, we require two items which we will hold securely at our front desk while you are at the property:
- A Valid Government-Issued ID: (e.g., Driver’s License, Passport, or State ID). We’ll make a copy and return the original back to you.
- A Credit or Debit Card: This card will be returned to you immediately upon the return of the key.
Option 2: Rently Self-Guided Tours
We understand that your schedule doesn’t always align with standard business hours. For added convenience, some of our properties are equipped with Rently Lockboxes, allowing you to view homes on evenings and weekends.
Rently is a secure, automated system that allows you to gain access to a property using your smartphone.
- Find a Rently Listing: Look for the “Self Tour Now” button on the property listing.
- Register: You will be prompted to create a quick account on the Rently website or app to verify your identity.
- Get Your Code: Once verified, you can schedule a time that works for you. Rently will provide a unique, one-time access code for the lockbox on the property.
- Tour on Your Time: Use the code to retrieve the key, tour the home at your own pace, and simply secure the key back in the box when you’re finished.
